I . His bionic prosthetic (right arm starting at the shoulder) is advanced enough to grant a great range of movements and allows physical activities practice. His reflexes are consequently greatly enhanced.II . His advanced prostethic calls for frequent updates and check-ups, often painful. His parents have him fly back to The Advanced Health &. Technology Center in California, USA to be monitored every two months.III . Despite bionic limb replacement, Lucas is still subject to phantom limb pain, a very organic sensation. It ranges from mild to severe and can last for seconds, hours, days or longer. It typically feels like his missing arm is aching, itching, burning, throbbing or numb.

# timeline.

1999: Lucas Isaac Mathieu Dormoy is born on the 9th of October to Emma Dormoy, actress and Jean-Louis Dormoy, Red Bull aerobatic pilot in Lucerne, Switzerland.
2003: Clément Axel Anthony Dormoy, Lucas' younger brother is born.
2008: Lucas begins competitive kart racing aged nine, winning several regional and national championships. His father encourages him to take flying lessons.
2011: Lucas wins the Swiss Championship. Flying procedure goes bad October, 14th. Lucas is hospitalized and loses his right arm. Last time piloting a plane.
2012: Lucas goes through functional physiotherapy and functional rehabilitation for a year / is implated with myoelectric sensors, uses bionic prosthetics for his arm. Beginning of phantom pain episodes.
2013: Lucas adopts a dog, a leonberger named Dickens. His brother's acting career takes off.

2014: Lucas wins the Swiss Championship once more (Junior Class). Makes his car racing debut participating in the final round of the F4 French Championship. Won the 2019 ADAC Formula 4 Championship and signed with Campos racing for the 2020 FIA Formula 3 Championship and ended the season as runner-up behind Thomas Arcene by two points.
2021 Lucas is promoted to the FIA Formula 2 Championship in 2021, ranking third in the standings during his rookie year. Prosthetics are upgraded. Recently a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy, he makes his Formula One debut with Ferrari at the 2021 Spanish Grand Prix, replacing second driver for the remainder of the 2021 season. With his debut, he became the first Swiss driver to compete in Formula One since Jean Barthet in 1998.
2022: Lucas is officialy part of the team and scores his maiden points finish at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
